Overall, I have really enjoyed Extended Practice. I feel as though it has been a great opportunity for us to all express our individual practice as a graphic designer and has given us the freedom to write our own briefs, meaning that we can create outcomes which are suitable for our portfolio and we have complete control over. I can't believe how quickly third year has gone and I will really miss being in a studio with like minded people there to constantly give me feedback. This will obviously be the same in a studio, but we won't have any say in what the brief is.
Most of my briefs this year have been live briefs for clients, both paid and unpaid. I am really pleased that I was able to do this, as it has given me the opportunity to gain more 'real world' experience before graduating. I also wanted to get used to not being able to produce outcomes to my taste all of the time, and getting used to having to compromise when making decisions.
This module has been an invaluable experience and I have gained so much from it. I am looking forward to the end of year show and being able to make the most of the last couple of weeks in Leeds.

OUGD603 - Extended Practice: Crackers (Final Photographs)
I am thrilled to bits with how these photographs have turned out. I feel as though I am finally comfortable with taking photographs and editing them successfully to use on design boards. I am really pleased with the outcome of this brief and may even approach some stores with the design idea.
Edited and used for boards
